Richard Swinford
Dr. Givings
Richard Swinford (he/him) is a fourth-year double majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. This is his first show with the Beloit College Theatre Department. Richy is an active member of Kids Eat Free, the improv group on campus. He is also very excited to graduate.

Sage Green
Mrs. Givings
Sage (she/her) is a junior at Beloit College studying Theatre Performance and Creative Writing with a minor in the Russian Language. Sage has been in several other Beloit College productions such as All In the Timing, Butterfly, Title of Show, and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Sage is an active member of Kids Eat Free, the improv group on campus. She is currently Assistant Directing Sense and Sensibility at Beloit Memorial High School and will be performing in Measurement in December. When she is not busy with theatre she enjoys listening to audiobooks and traveling with her dad!

Je'Mia Irving
Mrs. Daldry
Je’Mia Irving (she/her) is a second-year at Beloit College with a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. Although this is her first time performing at Beloit College, she has been in multiple performances throughout her life. She participated in cheerleading, majorette dance, praise dance, and performed in other plays too. During the summer she accomplished her first internship at DePaul University under Legaltrek (a law internship) in Chicago. She has a talent for creative writing. She’s a humanities kind of gal!

Devin Pittman
Mr. Daldry
Devin Pittman (he/him) is a first-year at Beloit College and wants to be an Elementary Education teacher. This is Devin's first time being in any play but he is very excited to try and learn new skills in the theatre. He has done a lot of volunteer work in Chicago, IL and has been on the stage in the past times singing or playing in a band.

Chloe McKinley
Annie
Chloe McKinley (she/her) is a senior at Beloit College, and she has had the privilege of performing in Beloit theater for the last three years. Her previous roles include Angus in Macbeth, Ernesto Roma in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, and the Moorhen in The Moors. In addition, she has acted in the Student-Directed One-Act Plays and the Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast production. When she is not in the theater, Chloe studies Biology and Studio Art, programs events for the Health and Wellness Center, and sings alto in the a capella group Bits & Pieces.

Hope Spann
Elizabeth
Hope Spann (she/her) is a first-year at Beloit College and thinking about majoring in the visual arts and possibly a minor in another field. In high school, she participated in the Japanese club and that made her take first-year Japanese this semester. Hope did a lot volunteering back in her hometown, Chicago. She spends most of her time playing video games, watching TV, spending time with friends and family, and taking care of her niece.

Sammy Schachter
Leo
Sammy Schachter (he/him)Â is a first-year at Beloit College with interests in Film, Music, Political Science and Sociology. He is also a member of the Beloit College Cross Country team. This is Sammy's first time acting in a play. Sammy is also a musician, filmmaker, and language lover.

Marina J. Bergenstock
Director
Marina J. Bergenstock (she/her) is a director, dramaturg, and educator. She received her MFA in directing at the University of Iowa. Her research focuses on Arab Theatre and new play development. This semester, she was the Assistant Director and Dramaturg for the world premiere production of Fouad Teymour’s Twice, Thrice, Frice… at Silk Road Rising. Her work has been published in Theatre/Practice, Theatre/History, and in Arab Stages. Next semester she will direct 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche. Favorite credits include Food and Fadwa, Men on Boats, and Below the Pacific.

Abby Bender
Assistant Director
Abby Bender (she/her) is a third-year at Beloit College with a double major in Biology and Theatre Performance. This is Abby’s first time assistant directing a show at Beloit College. She directed the play the How and the Why by Sarah Treem in the spring semester of 2019 and is currently working on a staged reading of a new work titled Measurement. Abby has also acted in Butterfly and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at Beloit College. Outside of the theatre department, Abby is the vice president of Beloit Independent Theatre Experience and a member of Kappa Delta.

Stacey Jaeger
Stage Manager
Stacey Jaeger (she/her) is currently in her Junior year at Beloit College. As a Theater Performance and Production major, she has assisted and acted in many plays in her time here, including stage managing The Moors, Chelonia 2019, and Clybourne Park and acting in Kiss. In her free time, Stacey enjoys singing her heart out to showtunes and annoying everyone in the Performing Arts House. She is very excited to be working with the cast and crew of In The Next Room and hopes to be a part of more Beloit College productions in the future.

Dakota Booher
Assistant Stage Manager
Dakota (she/her) is currently a sophomore at Beloit College from Santa Clarita California studying Theatre Performance. Her previous work assistant stage managing has been The Festival of One Acts at Beloit College and The Wild Duck with Menagerie Theatre Works. She's also spent time on stage in Men On Boats last fall at Beloit College. On-campus, you can find Dakota working in the costume shop, as a member of the sketch comedy group Adult Themes, is a Kappa Delta sister, an active member of BITE and lives in PAH! Shelbi Wilkin
Costume Designer
Shelbi Wilkin (she/her) is the Adjunct Assistant Professor of Theatre and Dance and Costume Shop Manager at Beloit college. Shelbi received her MFA in Costume Design from the University of Oregon and her BFA in Design and Technology from Central Washington University. She has worked as a costume and wig designer designing for premiere productions of INVISIBLE, Left Hand of Darkness, and Successful Strategies. Design credits include The Moors, Men on Boats, The Marriage of Figaro, and Scorched. Shelbi has draped costumes for Les Miserables, Mother Courage and Her Children, and The Duchess of Malfi. Future projects include designs for Chelonia and Little Shop of Horrors.

Ruby Green
Assistant Costume Designer
Ruby Green (she/her) is thrilled to be assistant costume designing her second show in the Neese. A senior Economics and Critical Identity Studies double major from Portland, Oregon, Ruby has been doing theatre since she was 6 years old. She has worked in the costume shop since her freshman year and has assistant costume designed Clybourne Park and costume designed Marcus Hayes’s dance piece Second Skin, Second Skeleton. She has been seen in Macbeth and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at Beloit College, and in Heathers: The Musical and Dogfight with Staged! In Portland, Oregon. Ruby would like to thank Shelbi for her endless mentorship, her amazing roommates Chloe, Mack, and Danny, and everyone who has let her put them into a corset.

Eric Moslow
Scenic Designer
Eric Moslow (he/him) is presenting his 5th freelance scene design for Beloit College. Most recently he designed The Moors and Intimate Apparel here in the Neese Theater. For the past 7 years, he has been the Scene Designer and Technical Director at Rock Valley College’s Starlight Theater, most recently designing Mamma Mia, West Side Story and A Christmas Story as part of the Traditions Series.

Alicia Bailey
Technical Director
Alicia Bailey (she/her) serves as the Technical Director for the Theatre and Dance Department and manages the Scene Shop. One of her favorite things about Beloit College is working in the shop with students, and teaching them skills that will help them be successful in theatre and life. She also teaches Stage Management, and mentors the stage managers. She is a big fan of cats (the animal).
